was debating making this video seeing is my recent purchase why not
these type of minyao ware dish kinda share the same enamels kinda from tongzhi-roc little bit xianfeng if can find real ones. you can definitely notice a change in in 1949+
same is dull or shiny enamels. many working kiln out there besides jingdezhen! many was folk or private. they say tongzhi has a certain look to in colors & porcelain warp or stlye. all hand written marks are being applied today just have to take a good look. (fresh paint didn't even see spoon in 150 years!?) better have good paperwork & proof why you call this M&P looking like was made 2023.
imo & observation 🤔
tons of footed bowls made in Jiaqing period & others. I think chamfered marks & sharper ones are good to say m&p depending how the rest of the porcelain look. other might say late qing or roc or never been made in the period of destruction of xianfeng & tongzhi well high auction sites & museums own a few of them.
if we all can date these dishes that have a written script like gotheborg has one dated 1877 maybe we can find older. qianjiang ware has few tongzhi famous painter cheng men I think his name is that's a different topic.
few older ones enamels look more watery then paste like thick
thanks for watching
